The mechanism, from the book
The country's best-known export is cricket, and little of the business around it is built at home.
Every idea in cluster 25 uses this mechanism.
A first step
Visit the hotels near the main cricket grounds and in the surf and trail towns, and ask each manager what happens when a guest or a touring player is injured. Offer a physiotherapy session at a stated price, delivered at the hotel, and ask whether they will keep your card at the front desk. A hotel that says yes, and one booked session, are your proof.
- Who pays first
- An injured visitor or a touring squad's support staff, who need a trusted physiotherapist today and will pay a visitor's rate for one who comes to them.
- What leaves today
- Touring teams fly their own physios in and injured visitors fly home to be treated, so the rehabilitation fees leave the island with them.
The idea and the mechanism are from the book. The first step was written for this site as a suggestion; if you know a better one, say so.
The test
Does it keep value that now leaves the island, or build the proof that lets somebody else do so?
The only test any idea on this site has to pass. The four rules that go with it are here.
