What this site collects, and what it does not
Short version: no cookies unless you allow them, no advertising, no data sold or shared, and your email goes to one person.
Page counts
The site counts page views without identifying anyone. With "Essential only" it sends the page address, the referring site and the country, and nothing stored on your device. Crawlers are not counted. If you press "Allow analytics" it also keeps a random session id for the length of your visit and remembers which site sent you here, in your browser's storage, for up to 12 months, so that the counts are less wrong. You can change your choice at any time from "Cookie settings" in the footer. This measurement is off until the portfolio's own collector is live; the site currently stores nothing at all about visits.
The Idea Finder
Your answers stay in your browser. Nothing is sent unless you ask for your list by email, in which case the email address and the numbers of your ten ideas are sent to the author's list, as with the forms below.
Forms and counts
Four things send data: put your name to an idea, send an idea, be told when the book is out (or have your ten ideas emailed), and "I'm starting this". The first three send what you typed to the author by email and, where configured, into a private contact list. A name shows on an idea's page only if you ticked the box and the author has checked it. "I'm starting this" stores the idea number and a one-way scrambled form of your internet address, so one person counts once; no name, no email. Nothing you send is used for advertising or passed to anyone else. Write to maheshika@maheshika.com to see, change or delete what is held about you; it is done within 30 days.

No advertising storage, no personalisation storage, no third-party scripts apart from the fonts, which are loaded from Google Fonts.
Hosting and law
The site is served by Vercel and its functions run there; server logs are kept by the host for its standard period. The site is operated from the United Kingdom under UK GDPR by Dr Maheshika Halbeisen, Shika Group. Last updated 2026-10-02.
