The mechanism, from the book
The proof exists in Malabe. What is missing is a thousand small versions of it.
Every idea in cluster 15 uses this mechanism.
A first step
Agree with a guesthouse or cafe owner in Kandy, Galle or Jaffna that has fibre and backup power to host desks for one month on a revenue share. Post the offer to remote-worker groups abroad at a monthly desk price, and ask a lawyer what a one-page tax note for foreign remote workers would cost. Paid desks, and the questions people ask before paying, are the proof.
- Who pays first
- A remote worker from Europe who wants a month somewhere warm with reliable internet, steady power and clear answers on tax.
- What leaves today
- Remote workers who could spend months and money on the island choose places that answer the power, internet and tax questions first.
The idea and the mechanism are from the book. The first step was written for this site as a suggestion; if you know a better one, say so.
The test
Does it keep value that now leaves the island, or build the proof that lets somebody else do so?
The only test any idea on this site has to pass. The four rules that go with it are here.
In the book
